This class uses scraps of glass (never throw anything out!) to create beautiful floral images. Pieces are arranged on clear glass and fired either full-fused (flat image without texture) or tack fused (some texture remaining). Once your pieces are fired, you can hang in the window to catch light, put in a frame, display on a table, or hang on the wall. The point of the class is to think about composition, color, and placement. Students are encouraged to collate images of flowers they find pleasing to use as inspiration.

All participants must sign a waiver to participate in classes. If you work with glass, then getting cut is always a possibility. We'll go over safety measures to limit the likelihood of injury, but each student is responsible for maintaining safe practices and ensuring their own safety by following guidelines. Guidelines will be emailed 30 days prior to class and must be attested and waivers signed AT LEAST 14 DAYS PRIOR TO CLASS. Otherwise, attendance will be cancelled.
REQUIRED ATTIRE: Long pants and closed shoes (e.g., no capris, shorts, sandals, or open shoes of any kind). Fabric for clothing should be cotton or natural fibers (e.g., not polyester or synthetics).
